Work Experience

In 1977 I achieved my degree in Nursing A and I have followed most of my training in the Sophia Children's Hospital.
In the Dijkzigt Hospital in Rotterdam, I followed my course in the maternity department. I also worked in the maternity ward of the hospital in Middelburg for over a year.

After a career break of 10 years because of the motherhood of three sons, I started to work as a private nurse and I also provided night care to terminally ill patients. Then I was asked to take over the organisational aspects in the office, which suited me very well.

Subsequently, I have worked for 13 years as branch manager of a new organisation for home care and have helped it develop into a company with over 200 employees.

To be able to have energy left to spend on things outside of work, like my regular stays in Normandy, I have started my own company for maternity care. The ideal of my company is personal approach maternity care, for families who are living abroad in countries that have no or hardly any qualitative maternity care.
